Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Fluentic, operated by SZU CHIEH CHU ("Fluentic," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information when you use our website and creator tools.

1. Information we collect

Account information

We collect your email address and, if you use Google sign-in, your name, Google account identifier, and profile image. When you create a password, we store a cryptographic hash rather than the password itself.

Creator content

We process the video and audio you upload or record, plus transcripts, revised scripts, translations, subtitles, generated audio, delivery guidance, and lip-synced video created through Fluentic.

Voice and likeness

Features that generate audio in your voice or modify mouth movements process voice recordings and facial imagery. Depending on where you live, these may receive special protection under privacy or biometric-information laws.

Usage, device, and billing information

We collect basic logs and technical information needed to operate and secure the service, along with your language preference and feature usage. If paid subscriptions are enabled, our payment provider processes payment details. Fluentic receives subscription and transaction status but does not store your complete card number.

2. How we use information

  • Provide transcription, rewriting, translation, subtitle, voice, recording, and lip-sync features.
  • Store your projects so you can return to, preview, export, or delete them.
  • Authenticate accounts, apply plan limits, provide support, and prevent abuse.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve service reliability and safety.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your private creator content to train a Fluentic-owned AI model.

3. Voice, likeness, and consent

You may only upload or generate content featuring yourself or a person who has given you all necessary permission. Before lip-sync generation, Fluentic asks you to confirm that you have consent. You may not use Fluentic for unauthorized impersonation, deceptive synthetic media, fraud, harassment, or unlawful exploitation.

For cloned-voice playback, Fluentic creates a temporary voice through ElevenLabs, generates the requested audio, and requests deletion of that temporary voice after generation. Generated audio and video may remain in your Fluentic project until you delete the project or your account.

4. Service providers

We use service providers to deliver specific functions. Content is shared only as needed for the feature you request:

  • Render for application hosting and storage.
  • Anthropic for script analysis, rewriting, and translation.
  • ElevenLabs for voice cloning and generated speech.
  • Sync for lip-synced video generation.
  • Google for optional Google account sign-in.
  • Stripe or another disclosed payment provider if paid checkout is enabled.

Speech transcription currently runs within Fluentic's hosted application environment. Each service provider may process information under its own terms and privacy policy.

5. Retention and deletion

Uploaded files and generated results are retained so they remain available in your project history. You can delete an individual analysis, delete all analyses, or delete your account from the Privacy & data controls in the workspace. Account deletion removes associated projects and requests cancellation of an active subscription where supported.

Some limited records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Service providers may retain information according to their own policies and legal obligations.

6. Cookies and local storage

Fluentic uses essential session cookies to keep you signed in and browser storage to remember preferences such as interface language. We do not currently operate third-party advertising trackers on the service.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information. You may also withdraw consent for future voice or likeness processing by no longer using those features and deleting the related projects. To make a request, contact admin@jennovallc.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls and hashed passwords. No service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a unique password and do not upload content you are not authorized to process.

9. International processing

Fluentic and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where applicable, we use provider terms and safeguards intended to support lawful international transfers.

10. Children

Fluentic is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Users who have not reached the age of legal majority where they live should use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Fluentic changes. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice where required.
